The National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have allocated additional central drought relief supplies to Xinjiang to support drought prevention and disaster reduction efforts.

On August 17, in response to the request from the flood and drought prevention headquarters of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, together with the Ministry of Emergency Management and the National Grain and Reserves Administration, increased the allocation of central drought relief materials, including 55 drought-resistant pumps, 37 generators, and 100 water storage tanks, to support Xinjiang in its drought relief and disaster reduction efforts.
