Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Renewed contract with Group CEO Charles Li for three years.

On August 17, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that its board of directors has approved the three-year extension of the contract for Group Chief Executive Officer Charles Li, with the new term running from March 1, 2027, to February 28, 2030 (inclusive of both start and end dates). According to Section 70(1) of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Ms. Li's appointment has been approved by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. It is reported that Ms. Li joined the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in January 2020 and will assume the role of Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange starting from March 1, 2024.
