The independent yacht brand Sea Expandary, founded by Liu Qiangdong, has acquired OceanWalker.

On August 17, the Tan Hai Group recently completed the acquisition and transfer of 80% equity in OceanWalker Yachts. This acquisition will expand yacht manufacturing capacity, address weaknesses in niche yacht types, and enhance the smart manufacturing layout. Sea Expandary is an independent yacht brand founded by Liu Qiangdong in February 2026, focusing on new energy and intelligent yachts. OceanWalker's core product line includes the S60 multi-version flagship luxury catamaran, as well as the X62 and X53 high-speed monohull flybridge yacht series, covering a full range of markets from coastal resorts and business receptions to ocean navigation. In addition, OceanWalker has established a multi-tier exclusive distributor network covering North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and has set up officially authorized cooperative institutions in places like the United States and Singapore.
