According to statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in July 2026, banks settled foreign exchange amounting to 1,809.7 billion yuan and sold 1,685.6 billion yuan. From January to July 2026, banks cumulatively settled foreign exchange totaling 12,602.0 billion yuan and sold 10,604.8 billion yuan. In US dollar terms, in July 2026, banks settled foreign exchange amounting to 266.3 billion dollars and sold 248.0 billion dollars. From January to July 2026, banks cumulatively settled foreign exchange totaling 1,831.6 billion dollars and sold 1,542.2 billion dollars. In July 2026, banks facilitated clients' foreign-related income of 588.37 billion yuan and made foreign payments of 547.70 billion yuan. From January to July 2026, banks cumulatively facilitated clients' foreign-related income totaling 3,831.28 billion yuan and made cumulative foreign payments of 3,619.93 billion yuan. In US dollar terms, in July 2026, banks facilitated clients' foreign-related income amounting to 86.56 billion dollars and made foreign payments of 80.58 billion dollars. From January to July 2026, banks cumulatively facilitated clients' foreign-related income totaling 557.12 billion dollars and made cumulative foreign payments of 526.42 billion dollars.
