AstraZeneca announces the official launch of Tezspire in China.

On August 17, AstraZeneca announced the official launch of Tezspire in China. In March 2026, tezepelumab was granted approval in China for two indications based on the positive results of the DIRECTION and WAYPOINT Phase III clinical studies: for the maintenance treatment of severe asthma in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older; and in combination with intranasal corticosteroids for the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps in adult patients whose disease is not adequately controlled with systemic corticosteroids and/or surgical treatment.
