In June this year, reporters from Hongxing News, accompanying the Central Safety Production Assessment Inspection Group No. 6, discovered and exposed significant issues during their inspection in the old town center of Hengyang, Hunan. These issues included the absence of warning signs for confined space operations, falsified gas detection and work permits, particularly in the construction section of Daoyuan Road for the rain and sewage diversion reconstruction project. A report titled "Today Signs Tomorrows Name, Multiple Signatures Show Similar Handwriting: Central Safety Production Assessment Inspection Site Exposes Deception" was published, drawing widespread public attention. Recently, reporters from Hongxing News learned from the Office of the State Councils Security Committee that Hunan Province has quickly initiated an investigation and handling process, adopting methods from accident investigations. All related safety hazards have been completely rectified, involved units and responsible personnel have been held legally accountable in accordance with regulations, and a province-wide special rectification campaign has been launched to strengthen safety production measures.
