In the early hours of August 16 local time, a traffic accident occurred in the Naama Province of northwest Algeria, resulting in the deaths of 6 people and injuring 31 others to varying degrees. Algeria's civil defense department stated that at the time of the incident, a passenger bus veered off the road and overturned while traveling on Route 6 in the Ain Seffra district of the province. Currently, the civil defense department has commenced rescue operations, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
