Berkshire's second-quarter holdings revealed

Berkshire Hathaway's latest disclosure of its second-quarter investment portfolio shows that the company has significantly increased its holdings in Google (the parent company of Alphabet) and continues to ramp up its investment in the U.S. residential construction sector. The Omaha-based conglomerate simultaneously continues to reduce its holdings in financial stocks and other positions. Relevant regulatory documents were submitted on Friday evening.
