Chris Rokos is extending the time required for some investors to redeem all their funds from his macro hedge fund to three times the original duration, following the example of larger multi-strategy funds by locking in client capital for a longer period. According to sources familiar with the matter, the London-based Rokos Capital Management is introducing a redemption limit of 8.33% per quarter at the investor level, meaning that complete redemption of funds could take as long as three years. In contrast, the current arrangement allows for a maximum of one year, with 25% redemptions allowed each quarter. Sources indicate that this move is aimed at gradually shifting the fund's capital structure towards longer-term funding.
