Minsheng Bank successfully facilitated the first offshore bond issuance by a non-financial enterprise in the market under the free trade agreement.

On August 13, Minsheng Bank assisted Shanghai Electric Global Capital Co., Ltd. in successfully issuing 1.5 billion yuan in green free trade offshore bonds. This bond issue is the first non-financial enterprise free trade offshore bond in the market since the new regulations for commercial banks to underwrite free trade offshore bonds were announced in June this year, marking another leap in Minsheng Bank's comprehensive offshore financial service capabilities.
