According to Zhitong Finance APP, on Friday, the storage sector saw a collective rise, with SanDisk (SNDK.US) up more than 5%, Micron Technology (MU.US) and Western Digital (WDC.US) both up over 3%, and SK Hynix (SKHY.US) and Seagate Technology (STX.US) both up over 2%. In news, on Thursday, August 13, Eastern Time, SanDisk unveiled its long-term financial model during the Investor Day for 2026, proposing a series of financial targets to be achieved between fiscal year 2028 and fiscal year 2030, including maintaining mid to high double-digit revenue growth during this period. SanDisk also addressed market concerns regarding bit growth, indicating that the available bit supply would be adjusted based on profitability optimization needs, while committing to return 100% of the remaining cash to shareholders after completing business investments.
