Hainan Airlines issued a statement on August 14: Recently, our company has noticed that individuals at a certain bar have been wearing outfits that closely resemble the Hainan Airlines "Haitian Xiangyun" cabin crew uniform for commercial performances and business activities. The "Haitian Xiangyun" uniform is the fifth generation brand uniform jointly created by our company and a renowned designer, and we lawfully hold intellectual property rights including the design patent and copyright for this uniform. The parties involved have used outfits that are highly similar to our uniform for commercial activities without legitimate authorization, which not only infringes upon our legal rights but also has the potential to confuse and mislead the public, severely damaging our brand image and reputation. In response to the aforementioned infringing activities, our company has taken the following protective measures: 1. Immediately filed an infringement complaint with relevant online platforms, requesting the removal of the infringing content; 2. Formally sent a lawyers letter to the parties involved, demanding that they immediately cease the infringing activities, eliminate adverse effects, and reserve all rights to pursue legal responsibility through litigation and other legal avenues. Our company maintains a "zero tolerance" attitude towards any infringement of intellectual property rights and misuse of brand image, and will resolutely hold the relevant parties accountable through legal means. We also solemnly remind everyone that the official uniform and brand image of Hainan Airlines are displayed and used only through our official authorized channels. We appreciate the attention and supervision from the broad internet community and media friends.
