China Communications Construction (01800.HK) signed new contracts worth 902.949 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 8.89%.

Zhuhai Financial News APP reported that China Communications Construction Company (01800.HK) issued an announcement indicating that in the first half of the year, faced with downward pressure on the domestic market scale, the company took on challenges and worked hard to increase efforts in the development of major projects, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of emerging businesses. The group signed new contracts worth RMB 902.949 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.89%; achieving 47% of the annual target, in line with the scheduled progress (calculated based on the approved contract signing goal of RMB 1,883.672 billion for 2025, with a growth of 2.6%). The amount of new contracts signed in overseas business reached RMB 241.678 billion (approximately USD 33.856 billion), a year-on-year increase of 20.61%, highlighting the continued contribution of overseas business, which raised its share of the group's new contract amount to 27%.
