State Power Investment Corporations Haiyang Nuclear Power Unit 3 successfully completed hot testing.

According to the China National Power Investment Group, at 17:30 on August 13, the thermal performance test of Unit 3 of the Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent fuel loading and first grid connection of the unit. It is reported that construction of Unit 3 of the Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant began in July 2022, and following this thermal test, efforts will be made to complete fuel loading and connect to the grid for the first time within the year.
