Sinopharm Modern: A wholly-owned subsidiary's drugs have passed the consistency evaluation of generic drugs.

The announcement from China National Pharmaceutical Group states that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sinopharm Weichida, has received notification from the National Medical Products Administration that Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Dry Suspension has passed the consistency evaluation for generic drugs. The active ingredients of this medication have antibacterial properties, and the projected sales in 2025 for public medical institutions and urban pharmacies amount to 279 million yuan. So far, approximately 16.23 million yuan has been invested in research and development for this project. The 0.3125g specification passed evaluation in December 2024, and this will promote market expansion and sales of the product; however, there is no significant impact on current performance, and uncertainty remains regarding drug sales.
