Zhang Ping, the former director of the Work Committee of the Trade Unions of Directly Affiliated Institutions in Guizhou Province, and three others have been prosecuted.

On August 14, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced that the procuratorial organs have filed public prosecutions against Zhang Ping, former director of the Guizhou Provincial Direct Government Trade Union Work Committee; Zhang Fuyan, former Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Yunnan Provincial Forest Fire Brigade; Chen Wei, former general manager of the Hebei Petroleum Branch of Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd.; and Gong Naiqin, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Anhui North Coal and Power Group Co., Ltd.
