Due to the impact of sudden short-term heavy rainfall and extreme weather, at about 6:30 AM on August 14, a debris flow occurred in Tanlongqiao Village, Heping Town, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province. It is initially determined to have been triggered by a mountain flood, resulting in the collapse of a residential building. After the danger was reported, Changxing County immediately activated its emergency response, promptly organizing emergency, land resource planning, firefighting, public security, and health departments to rush to the scene to carry out search and rescue operations and medical treatment. As of 2:30 PM on the 14th, preliminary verification indicated that the disaster had resulted in 1 death and 3 people missing. Emergency rescue efforts are being carried out systematically and forcefully.
