August 14: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.29 points compared to yesterday.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products on August 14 is 115.19, an increase of 0.29 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for "basket products" is 115.63, up 0.33 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork on the national agricultural product market is 15.77 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday; beef is 67.69 yuan/kg, up 0.5%; lamb is 64.79 yuan/kg, down 0.4%; eggs are 10.21 yuan/kg, up 1.0%; and whole chickens are 17.26 yuan/kg, down 0.9%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables is 4.58 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.3% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits is 7.01 yuan/kg, up 3.2%. The price of crucian carp is 20.55 yuan/kg, up 1.2%; carps are 14.60 yuan/kg, up 1.0%; white fish is 10.41 yuan/kg, up 0.9%; and large hairtail is 43.19 yuan/kg, up 3.9%. Today, among the 46 monitored varieties of fresh agricultural products in domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to yesterday are giant peak grapes, duck pears, large hairtail, cabbage, and Fuji apples, with increases of 6.1%, 4.9%, 3.9%, 3.8%, and 3.2% respectively. The top five price decreases are watermelons, cabbages, onions, whole chickens, and lamb, with decreases of 2.5%, 1.5%, 1.1%, 0.9%, and 0.4% respectively.
