Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued "Several Measures to Promote the Collaborative Innovation of Industry, Academia, and Research in Brain-Machine Interfaces," which mentioned improving the multi-party demand response mechanism. It supports high-level medical institutions in clinical applications, jointly refining research demands with enterprises. The number of enterprise requests in the "Vanguard" and "Leading Goose" project lists in the brain-machine interface field should generally not be less than 60%, with the "Vanguard" projects typically requiring a minimum of 80%. Strengthening basic research and tackling key core technologies is essential. The implementation of major projects under the National Natural Science Foundation's joint fund for life and health, along with the provincial application-oriented basic research program, will enhance studies on the mechanisms of major brain diseases and new brain-machine interfaces, with a maximum subsidy of 3 million yuan for individual projects. The launch of major provincial science and technology projects in brain-machine interfaces will focus on breakthroughs in the basic software and hardware of brain-machine interfaces and promote the development and application of products such as auditory and visual prosthetics, smart prosthetic limbs, and depression treatment, with a maximum subsidy of 10 million yuan for individual projects. Deepening the collaborative efforts of industry, academia, and research is also crucial. A brain-machine interface innovation consortium will be established; enterprises are encouraged to implement partnership programs with universities and research institutions and co-establish joint laboratories. The proportion of "Vanguard" projects in the brain-machine interface field led by enterprises should not be less than 70%.
