Starting from September 10, Zhejiang has implemented 18 measures to promote the development of brain-computer interface technology.

Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued several measures to promote the collaborative interactions between industry, academia, and research in the field of brain-computer interfaces. The focus is on the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation in the brain-computer interface sector, driven by significant application scenarios in medical, consumer, and industrial fields, establishing a collaborative mechanism for industry, academia, and research that includes shared cultivation, coordinated resource management, joint risk-sharing, and shared benefits. The "Several Measures" will be implemented starting September 10. The measures state that by 2027, the enterprise-led collaborative mechanism for industry, academia, and research will operate effectively, the independent innovation capabilities of core software and hardware in brain-computer interfaces will be significantly enhanced, more than five representative products will be developed and verified for application, and the future revenue of the brain-computer interface industry will exceed 5 billion yuan. By 2030, the collaborative mechanism for industry, academia, and research will operate efficiently, the technological and industrial innovations in the brain-computer interface field will be deeply integrated, a number of typical application scenarios and commercial application products will be formed, a batch of leading technology enterprises will be cultivated, and a highland of brain-computer interface technology and industrial innovation with strong international competitiveness will be established.
