According to Zhitoo Finance APP, Cui Dongshu stated that in July 2026, the retail sales of passenger vehicles nationwide reached 1.461 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.9% and a month-on-month decrease of 8.8%; the cumulative retail for this year reached 10.161 million units, down 20.3% year-on-year. The domestic passenger vehicle market in July 2026 exhibited a trend of "sustained pressure on total volumes, weakening month-on-month, and extreme structural differentiation," highlighting the characteristics of a downturn in the off-season and further deepening the industry's structural adjustments.
