The two departments launch a national level four disaster relief emergency response in Henan.

According to the National Emergency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief, on August 14, the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee launched a Level Four disaster relief emergency response to address the severe disaster impact of this year's No. 13 typhoon "Bai Dolphin" residual vortex and heavy rainfall on Henan. The previously dispatched disaster relief working group continues to conduct on-site inspections in the disaster areas, guiding and assisting local authorities in disaster assessment, population relocation and resettlement, and basic livelihood support for disaster relief efforts. On the same day, the Office of the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management coordinated with the National Food and Material Reserve Administration to allocate 30,000 central disaster relief supplies, including folding beds, mattresses, blankets, summer quilts, summer clothing, and family emergency kits, to support Henan in resettling and assisting affected populations.
