A Unified "Standard" for National Inspection Price Items: National Medical Insurance Administration Releases Guidelines
Recently, the National Healthcare Security Administration officially issued the "Guidelines for the Project Establishment of Medical Service Price Items in Laboratory Tests." The release of this guideline fills an important gap in the uniform standardization of medical service price items in our country and marks the comprehensive conclusion of the project establishment guideline compilation work for 40 batches of medical service price items that has lasted for several years. The national unified system of medical service price items is now essentially formed. The newly released guidelines for laboratory test projects set up a total of 662 main items, 114 additional items, and 7 expanded items, covering major mainstream fields such as clinical testing, blood transfusion and typing, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology and parasitology, and molecular diagnostics, establishing a unified "yardstick" for laboratory pricing projects nationwide.
