The Baotou Rare Earth Research Institute was established in December 1994, and its legal representative is Liu Zhengang. Its business scope includes the sales of rare earth functional materials, rare earth metal smelting, new material technology research and development, and magnetic material production, and it is jointly held by China Northern Rare Earth High-Tech Co., Ltd., Baotou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia State-Owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd.
