This year, the Three Gorges Hub's throughput has reached 100 million tons.

According to the Yangtze River Three Gorges Navigation Management Bureau, as of August 13, 2026, at 00:40, the throughput of the Three Gorges Hub reached 100 million tons. Among them, the Three Gorges Ship Lock operated 5863 times, with 21,562 vessels passing through, totaling 97.276 million tons; the Three Gorges Ship Lifting System operated 2557 times, with 2,590 vessels passing through and 446,000 passengers. A total of 28.468 million tons of livelihood materials and 770,000 tons of key urgent materials were facilitated across the dam.
