Recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs released statistical data indicating that in the first half of this year, the total expenditure of China's civil affairs reached 243.6 billion yuan. Among them, the number of recipients of urban minimum living security was 5.892 million, rural minimum living security was 33.462 million, support and care for urban and rural severely disadvantaged individuals was 4.937 million, individuals receiving living subsidies for persons with disabilities in difficulty was 12.027 million, and those receiving caregiving subsidies for individuals with severe disabilities was 16.871 million.
