In the second week of August, 50 funds were launched, setting a new weekly high since July.
The issuance of new funds has clearly accelerated recently. According to Wind data, a total of 50 funds were launched for subscription in the second week of August, an increase of 14 from the previous week, representing a nearly 40% week-on-week growth and setting a new weekly high since July. In terms of product categories, this week saw the highest number of newly launched funds in the stock category, reaching 23; there were 11 mixed-asset funds and 10 bond funds, along with 5 FOF funds and 1 QDII fund starting issuance. The combined total of stock and mixed-asset funds reached 34, accounting for nearly 70% of the total number of new funds launched this week. Equity and equity-related products continue to be the focus of fund companies' strategies.
