The Central Meteorological Observatory has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain.

At 06:00 on August 13, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for heavy rain: It is expected that from 08:00 on August 13 to 08:00 on August 14, there will be heavy to torrential rain in parts of southern Henan, northern and eastern Hubei, northwestern and central-southern Anhui, central-southern Jiangsu, northern Zhejiang, as well as northern and southern Jiangxi, central-western Guangdong, and eastern Guizhou. Among these areas, there will be localized heavy rain in eastern Hubei, southern Anhui, southern Jiangsu, northern Zhejiang, and central Guangdong. Some of the aforementioned areas will experience short-term intense precipitation, as well as strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and gusty winds.
