Shiyao Innovation announced that its holding subsidiary, Jushi Biotech, received a $30 million upfront payment from AstraZeneca on August 12, 2026. This amount is stipulated in the Cooperation, Option, and License Agreement signed by both parties on July 1, 2026. The two sides will engage in strategic cooperation in the field of novel small interfering nucleic acid candidate drugs, developing new types of extrahepatic delivery small interfering molecular nucleic acid candidate drugs.
