The latest data shows that in July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.576 million and 1.561 million units, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 26.8% and 23.7%. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 60.4% of the total sales of new cars, marking the first time this share has exceeded 60%. From January to July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles both exceeded 9 million units, with the sales of new energy vehicles making up 51.2% of the total new car sales.
