Beijing: Supporting the retail market for agricultural products through financial subsidies to improve the business environment.

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce has issued a notice regarding the implementation of the "Support Measures for Promoting the High-Quality Development of Agricultural Product Markets in Beijing." It points out that, through the method of fixed subsidies, it will support agricultural product retail markets in establishing unified signage, optimizing entry and exit points as well as surrounding environments, and overall improving the market transaction environment; it will support agricultural product retail markets in upgrading fire safety and security facilities, reconstructing food safety testing areas, and equipping them with professional equipment to comprehensively enhance the levels of production, fire safety, and food safety management in the markets; it will support agricultural product retail markets in procuring digital equipment such as smart scales, monitoring systems, and information display screens, and in building an intelligent market management system. Through financial subsidies, it will support agricultural product retail markets in exploring new models for integrated development around enhancing the business environment, such as "agricultural product retail + convenience services + experiential" formats, further enhancing the functional positioning of community commercial centers and providing residents with "one-stop" convenient services. It also supports enterprises in the remodeling and equipment purchase of quality-improving businesses such as specialty dining, customer-cooking services, cake baking, tea and coffee arts, and new-style bookstores.
