Semiconductor equipment manufacturer Lam Research plans to hire an additional 200 people in Singapore, covering areas such as high bandwidth memory and silicon photonics.
On August 12, US semiconductor equipment supplier Lam Research Corporation announced plans to hire approximately 200 additional employees in Singapore this year, with nearly 90% of the positions in professional engineering and technical roles, to strengthen the research and development capabilities for next-generation semiconductor technologies. The new positions will cover areas including high bandwidth memory, 2.5D and 3D integration, silicon photonics, co-packaged optics, panel-level packaging, and intelligent technologies for equipment and services.
