The trial operation of the Pinglu Canal has started, with four test boats passing through the MaDao hub ship lock.

On the 12th, the official testing of ships on the Pinglu Canal commenced. Four representative test vessels of 1,000 tons, 3,000 tons, and 5,000 tons are proceeding downstream along the main navigation channel of the Pinglu Canal toward the canal's estuary. Currently, the four test vessels are passing through the navigational lock at the Maidao hub in sequence.
