The Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow rainstorm warning signal at 10:07 AM on August 12, 2026. Influenced by the warm, moist air flow from the periphery of the typhoon and cold air, this precipitation process began on the afternoon of the 11th. As of 8:00 AM on the 12th, some areas in Zhangjiakou, Chengde, Baoding, Xiong'an New Area, Langfang, Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, and Handan have experienced heavy to torrential rain. It is expected that from daytime to nighttime on the 12th, there will still be significant precipitation in southern Chengde, northern and central Tangshan, northern Qinhuangdao, and areas south of Baoding and Langfang, with uneven rainfall distribution. In some areas, the hourly rainfall may exceed 50 mm or accumulated rainfall over 6 hours may exceed 70 mm. Specifically, in some regions of southern Chengde, northern Tangshan, eastern Baoding, Shijiazhuang, and Handan, the total precipitation may reach 120 to 150 mm. There is a risk of secondary disasters such as mountain floods, debris flows, and landslides in mountainous and hilly areas, as well as a risk of water accumulation in low-lying areas.
