On August 11 local time, artificial intelligence infrastructure company Alpha Compute announced the signing of a binding letter of intent to acquire natural gas assets in Pennsylvania, USA. The plan includes the construction of a data center complex with a planned capacity of 200 megawatts powered by natural gas, with the possibility of expanding to 1 gigawatt. The benchmark acquisition price for the asset is set at $55 million, and after signing the final agreement, Alpha Compute will need to pay a deposit of $3 million.
