Less than a month after its launch, MiHoYo's "new title" has announced it will cease operation.

On August 11, miHoYo announced that its Steam early access AI companion product "BSide: Olivia Lin" would cease online operations. This product, which began early access on July 13, had an online lifecycle of less than a month. The official team will provide an offline version to retain local features and complete the project. Just a month ago, Anuttacon, founded by miHoYo co-founder Cai Haoyu, also announced the permanent shutdown of its AI companion product AnuNeko, marking the end of two major experimental AI companion projects in the ACG (Anime, Comic, and Game) space.
