On August 11, Manus released "A Letter to Manus Users." Manus stated that it will soon resume operations as an independent company. As part of this transition to independent operation, and to comply with regulatory requirements in certain jurisdictions, data generated by some users on or after December 29, 2025, will be deleted from 08:00 to 24:00 (SGT) on August 23, 2026. Affected users can back up their data from now until 07:59 (SGT) on August 23, 2026, and can restore their data starting at 08:00 (SGT) on August 25, 2026. During this period, unaffected users can continue to use Manus as usual without taking any action. (Interface).
