On August 11, according to tech media reports, Apple pushed iOS 27 Beta 5 to developers, bringing numerous adjustments and optimizations, with six unreleased new iPhone models appearing for the first time in the system code. Reportedly, these codes were found in the iPhone battery driver and "battery intelligence" feature folders, with specific codenames and corresponding models as follows: V62: iPhone Air 2 V63: iPhone 18 Pro V64: iPhone 18 Pro Max V67: iPhone 18 V68: iPhone Ultra V69: iPhone 18e. Apple's new product release cycle this year will change the previous rhythm, adopting a "phased release" strategy. The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the foldable new model iPhone Ultra will debut this September; while the standard iPhone 18 will be launched next spring, together with the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.
