Titanium Energy Chemical: Plans to invest over 10 billion yuan to build two major chemical projects.
Titan Chemical announced that the company's eighth board of directors held its fourteenth meeting and approved two investment proposals. The first is to increase the capital of its controlling subsidiary Guizhou Zhonghe Phosphate by 260 million yuan to construct a project with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 1.4 million tons of ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, with a total investment expected to be 5.538 billion yuan; the second is for its wholly-owned subsidiary Gansu Oriental Titanium to invest in the construction of a precursor project with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate/sodium iron phosphate, with a total investment expected to be 5.462 billion yuan. Both investments do not constitute a major asset reorganization and do not require submission to the shareholders' meeting for approval.
