Today, reporters learned that the State Administration for Market Regulation has announced the results of the 2025 certification validity spot check. A total of 2,483 batches of products in the mandatory product certification sector were subjected to validity checks, with a coverage rate of 41.18% for certification bodies. The State Administration for Market Regulation has reported the information regarding the certified production enterprises and products that did not meet certification requirements to the relevant certification bodies. It has also directed these certification bodies to conduct quality traceability and risk assessments, requiring a problem-oriented approach to further implement the quality safety responsibilities of certified production enterprises, strengthen the quality control of certification activities, and improve the effectiveness of certifications. Certification bodies have taken action in accordance with relevant regulations, resulting in the revocation of a total of 764 certification certificates for certified production enterprises and products that did not meet certification requirements.
