Recently, the National Data Standardization Technical Committee has received multiple reports indicating that some organizations or individuals have been fraudulently using the name of the National Data Standardization Committee to collect improper fees from enterprises, such as the so-called "data national standard preparation fee," "standard registration fee," or "standard participation fee." Such behavior seriously disrupts the order of the national standard formulation and revision work and damages the reputation and legitimate rights and interests of the National Data Standardization Committee. Therefore, the secretariat of the National Data Standardization Committee hereby makes the following solemn statement: The National Data Standardization Committee has never, and will never, directly collect improper fees from any enterprises, public institutions, social organizations, or individuals under any unjustifiable name such as "standard registration," "participation credit," or "standard project establishment." It is also clarified that leading organizations in the standard development phase are not allowed to collect fees from participating organizations in violation of regulations. The National Data Standardization Committee strictly adheres to the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" and the relevant regulations of the National Standardization Administration and the National Data Standardization Committee when carrying out the formulation and revision of national standards in the data field, upholding the principles of openness, fairness, and justice. Any organization or individual that receives notifications or collaboration invitations concerning "participation fees" or "paid registration" issued in the name of the National Data Standardization Committee is urged to remain vigilant, exercise caution, and beware of falling victim to scams. Such activities are fraudulent schemes or illegal profit-making actions orchestrated by criminals and have no connection to the National Data Standardization Committee. We encourage all sectors of society to actively supervise and report. If any incidents of name misuse or unauthorized fee collection are discovered, please retain relevant evidence in a timely manner and contact the secretariat of the National Data Standardization Committee for verification. The secretariat will handle such cases in accordance with regulations. Our organization reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility against any institutions or individuals engaging in illegal activities under the name of the National Data Standardization Committee. We will report these violations to the National Market Supervision Administration, public security, and other law enforcement departments as appropriate, taking severe measures to combat such illegal activities and uphold the seriousness of national standards and the legitimate rights and interests of the National Data Standardization Committee.
