The three major A-share indexes experienced mixed results today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.82%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped by 0.4%, while the ChiNext Index rose by 0.34%. The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 declined by 0.86%, and the Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index fell by 1.63%. The total market turnover was 23,356 billion yuan, a decrease of 2,031 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 3,700 stocks in the market declining. In terms of sector performance, film and television cinema, MLCC concept, oil and gas exploration and services, pharmaceutical commerce, and reducer sectors saw the largest gains; precious metals, minor metals, energy metals, industrial metals, and military equipment sectors were also among the top performers. On the trading front, the film and television cinema sector remained strong throughout the day, with Huazhi Digital Media, Beijing Cultural Investment, and Wengtou Holdings hitting the daily limit, while Ru Yi Films, Shanghai Movies, and Hengdian Film and Television were among the top gainers. The MLCC concept sector saw a rise but then retreated, with Double Star New Material, Jiemai Technology, and Guofeng New Material hitting their daily limits, and Dali Cap rising over 13%. Fenghua High-Tech, Yunzhuang Technology, and Dongcai Technology also had notable gains. The pharmaceutical commerce sector was active, with Kaikai Industrial, First Pharmaceutical, and Laobaixing hitting the daily limit, while Yixintang, Yifeng Pharmacy, and Dasanlin were among the top gainers. The precious metals sector continued to decline, with Chifeng Gold, Sichuan Gold, and Zijin Mining leading the losses. The industrial metals sector also performed poorly, with Western Mining, Luoyang Molybdenum, and Shengda Resources posting significant declines.
