Alibaba Cloud's open source streaming storage Fluss has officially joined the ranks of top Apache projects.
Recently, the Apache Software Foundation announced that the streaming storage project Apache Fluss, donated and open-sourced by Alibaba Cloud, has officially graduated from the incubator and become a top-level project of Apache globally. The related proposal received unanimous approval in the committee vote. Fluss builds a real-time streaming storage layer natively on top of data lakes, providing context with second-level updates to support real-time decision-making and actions for enterprise-level agents. It is the strongest foundation for the Agentic lake and has already been scaled and implemented in large tech companies such as Alibaba, Xiaohongshu, iQIYI, and Ant Group.
