Ministry of Transport: Maintain Level II Defense Response for Heavy Rain; Control Implemented on 43 Road Sections

The Ministry of Transport is currently maintaining a Level 2 flood defense response due to heavy rainfall. As of 10 AM today, active closure and control measures have been implemented on 43 sections of national and provincial highways in five provinces, including Zhejiang and Anhui. The Yangtze River in the Nanjing section is still experiencing heavy rain and wind, with gusts reaching 7 to 8 levels. Currently, over 1,000 vessels in the jurisdiction are still docked to avoid the wind.
