According to the data released by the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission's Reporting Center, in July 2026, the center guided reporting departments at all levels across the country, as well as major website platforms, to handle 17.785 million reports from internet users concerning illegal and harmful information such as pornography, gambling, infringement, and rumors, which represents a month-on-month decrease of 0.5% and a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%. Among these, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission's Reporting Center received 741,000 reports, reporting departments in various regions handled 577,000 reports, and major website platforms across the country addressed 16.467 million reports.
