Google's monthly active user count in Korea has surpassed that of the Korean internet giant Naver for the first time.

On August 11, data released by Mobile Index, a subsidiary of South Korean AI technology company IGAWorks, showed that last month, the number of monthly active users of Google apps in South Korea reached 47.0229 million, ranking first among generative AI applications, while domestic internet giant Naver ranked second. This marks the first time since the implementation of this statistic in March 2021 that Googles monthly active user count in South Korea has surpassed that of Naver.
