The head of JPMorgan's Asia-Pacific region stated that given the bank's corporate banking revenue growth in the region has far exceeded 20% this year, it will continue to recruit at a similar pace in Asia-Pacific by 2027. Oliver Blinckmann and Quinn Clayton from JPMorgan's Singapore office mentioned in a media interview that following a 20% expansion of the corporate banking team in the Asia-Pacific region by 2025, the American bank is set to complete a plan to increase its corporate banking staff by approximately 15% this year. According to the executives, this recruitment will cover teams servicing large and medium-sized enterprises, innovative economies, financial institutions, and non-bank financial institutions. "We plan to continue recruiting at a similar pace in 2027," Clayton said. "This involves all of our areas of business. While the situations differ by region, many countries are involved." Thanks to the overseas expansion of Asian enterprises and increased investments in artificial intelligence, data centers, and supply chain sectors, JPMorgan's corporate banking business in the Asia-Pacific region has seen a growth rate that has far exceeded 20% this year. "The momentum for growth this year is even stronger," Blinckmann stated, "with growth rates far exceeding 20% across the Asia-Pacific region and in all industry sectors."
