The clinical trial application for the eye care product of Baiyunshan (600332.SH) subsidiary has been approved.

Zhitong Finance APP reports that Baiyun Mountain (600332.SH) has announced that its subsidiary, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Zhongyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration, approving the additional therapeutic function for its Zhaoyanming Tablets. Zhaoyanming Tablets are effective in tonifying the liver and kidneys and alleviating visual obstruction. They are used for symptoms caused by liver and kidney deficiency, such as dryness, discomfort, monocular diplopia, weakness in the lower back and knees, or mild vision loss; and for early and mid-stage age-related cataracts presenting with the aforementioned symptoms. This drug is a compound traditional Chinese medicine preparation that has already been listed, and this application seeks to expand its clinical trial for the treatment of dry eye.
