Shanghai: By 2030, the city's service trade scale will exceed 300 billion US dollars.

The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and six other departments have issued the "Construction Plan for the National Service Trade Innovation and Development Demonstration Zone in Shanghai." It points out that the construction will link the Five Centers and emphasize demand-driven growth, reform breakthroughs, technological empowerment, and open collaboration, to promote the expansion, enhancement, and opening-up of service trade. By 2027, the city's service trade scale is expected to reach 270 billion USD, forming a development landscape with a more optimized trade structure, more concentrated trade entities, smoother flow of factors, and more internationally competitive service brands, playing a demonstrative and leading role in the high-quality development of national service trade; by 2030, the city's service trade scale is expected to exceed 300 billion USD, striving to establish a globally influential service trade hub.
