The first phase of the Bohai Sea's first trillion-cubic-meter gas field has been fully put into production, with a daily output of oil and gas equivalent exceeding 5,200 tons.

On August 9, The Paper learned from China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) that the first trillion-cubic-meter gas field in the Bohai Sea the first phase of the development project for the Bozhong 19-6 gas field has been fully put into production, with a daily oil and gas equivalent output exceeding 5,200 tons. During this critical period of peak summer demand, the full production of the first phase of the development project can further meet the energy needs of local residents and industrial production. The Bozhong 19-6 gas field is located in the central Bohai Sea, with proven geological reserves of natural gas exceeding 200 billion cubic meters and proven geological reserves of oil liquids exceeding 200 million cubic meters. The gas field is buried at a depth of over 5,000 meters, with widely distributed but complex reservoir types, and dense fractures in the buried hill formations. According to a relevant person in charge from the Engineering Technology Operations Center of CNOOC Tianjin Company, the first phase development project successfully implemented 10 ultra-deep wells over 6,000 meters, setting a record for the number of ultra-deep wells in Bohai oil field development projects, with an average well depth of over 5,500 meters.
